About
What We Believe
We believe that today more than ever, church leaders need to rely more and more on the Power of the Holy Spirit. Leaders in the church today need a support group, peers they can talk to, pray and grow with.
Pastors and other ministry leaders carry some of this world’s heaviest burdens. Few lay people fully understand or appreciate how difficult the task is for a pastor to guide the spiritual lives of hundreds, if not thousands, as well as providing and caring for his/her own family. Unfortunately, tremendous stress often accompanies such awesome responsibility.
Our Purpose
One of the keys to strong and vibrant churches is strong and vibrant pastors who feel blessed and supported by the church. Our fellowship is dedicated to supporting spiritual leaders in prayer and to providing strong interpersonal relationships that foster healthy pastors who can more effectively minister to the church.
We want to create an environment in which pastors are free to share and grow and to foster unity in the Body of Christ, to be a network of congregations who are in fellowship with one another with a common goal for Northern Nevada.
Our vision is for strong healthy pastors, empowered congregations, and a spiritually transformed environment in our communities.
Weekly Pastor’s Prayer Meeting:
When and Where
We have weekly prayer meetings every Wednesday at noon for a quick lunch and fellowship, and then we pray corporately for our families, our churches, our community, and our nation.
Our weekly prayer meeting is hosted by a different church each month.
The first Wednesday of each month is what we like to call our “brown bag day.” Bring a lunch and sit around the fellowship table. We like to think of this as our work day when we discuss church issues and event.
The rest of the month the host church is blessed to provide lunch.
Monthly City-wide Prayer Meetings:
On the first Monday of the month at 7pm a host church will open their house for an hour of powerful prayer and ministry. It is a great honor to host one of our monthly prayer meetings and the host church is always left with a blessing from all the heartfelt prayers.
